STOP THE PRESS!
our favourite London night, Gutterslut is to be held twice monthly - 1st and 3rd weekends of each month - starting this Saturday 6th September...
remember to get to IMAGES, 483 Hackney Road, London E2 9ED, nice and early, as it's a busy night... be there before midnite to save yourself a fiver and rave on until 5.30am...
DJs Per QX, Elliott J. Brown and Nic Fisher will be feeding you their no-nonsense mix of tekno, rave and elektro upstairs, as usual... plus Paul Burston will be doing the doo in the downstairs dance floor making sure you enjoy their double penetration party!
gothrobot says: a twice in a month opportunity...
Love GutterSlut
we all remember Kanye West's "workout plan" video featuring the great Anna Nicole Smith... the track was kinda alright if you're into that kind of thing too... haha!
now our friends Night Drugs give us a top class synth-filled re-work with a reinterpreted old-skool bassline and a punchy kick and snare that's bound to make you wanna jump up and and dance...
brilliant sampling and the usual cheekiness these frenchies have us accostumed to... yeah! We Love Night Drugs!

if you ever thought that all 80s comebacks were kinda safe and nostalgic, think again... this sounds as fresh as "Walking in the Rain" did in 1981, with the same monotone speak-sing as then but with a very current sinister element of suspense... big round of applause to director Nick Hooker who has created a visual hybrid that lays somewhere inbetween a Massive Attack and a Michel Gondry masterpiece...
fuckin' incredible... if anyone like Jackson and His Computer Band, Aphex Twin or even Justice did any remixes of this, i'd probably die of a serotonin overdose...
at 60, Grace Jones née Mendoza is simply the shit!

somewhere in between 8bit and electrocore happens to be The Habitat, part of a happening new brew of style blenders popping all over Europe... this Austrian act picks and mixes from many a different pot to create a unique flavour that's bound to leave you wanting more...
"confessions of 8bit love" is a sweet hymn to binary love... a piece of analog poetry written in a digital world, its beautifully crafted chords blending into dithered bliss in just 3 minutes and 6 seconds...
this is kinda really really nice!
