Ave and P Street, the SHOES FOR BUSH action will walk to the WHITE HOUSE to hurl shoes at Bush, in the spirit of Iraqi journalist/hero Mutadhar and in solidarity with the Iraqi people… they are collecting shoes to bring to the gates of The White House on Monday January 19th, Bush’s last day in office…
the visual of masses of people hurling shoes at Bush as he exits the White House will go around the globe… and the world will heave a collective sign of relief!
