and what a label that’ll be! with massive hits such as Welcome to the Floor and No Limit 2008, things can only get better and we at GothRobot are very very excited at what’s to come later this year…
and as a taster, here’s their latest release, from parisian artist Spit On The Ashes… away from formulaic 80s revival patterns and with a style difficult to categorise, it’s a bit like a cocktail of Devo, B-52s, Yella and ZZ top, shaken and stirred, with a big black cherry on top… click below for the Face A and here for the Face B, Groove Baby…

last november french band Drownsoda released their first EP Playing With Fire… as a pre-release we posted Holograms and right now we can’t stop listening to Roads and Ocean, a mildly uplifting, synth filled melody about loving and unloving… sounds a bit like The Presets remixed by Grum but with the gently fiery touch that we love so much about the band… a must!
